Botox made my smile teethless. Can Botox lift my lips back up? (photos)

Unfortunately, there is nothing to do to speed up Botox wearing off. It can take anywhere from 3-4 months to go back to normal.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately there is no temporary treatment to improve your current appearance and you will need to allow the botox to wear off before your previous appearance is restored.

Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done to correct this. Fortunately, this will dissipate in a short time. Your smile before did not appear "gummy," I don't think you were a good candidate for a gummy smile treatment and this is why you are not happy with the result. I would recommend a lip flip only.

Botox is used for a gummy smile and for lip lines or a lip flip to give less teeth and gum show. The effect of the Botox will gradually wear off and you may decide to have less injected next time. It also appears that you had lip filler so it may take a while to become accustomed to the effect of both treatments.

The corners of the nose contains a group of 3 muscles, called the levator labii superioris (LLS), the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi (LSAN), and the zygomaticus minor muscles. Together, this group of muscles help raise the lips when smiling. These muscles are treated to relax the lip when smiling, so that less gums show. However, some patients are more sensitive this area being treated and can feel like it affects their smile. Unfortunately, at this point, it would be best to let the Botox wear off, which typically takes 8-10 weeks in this area. Moving forward, you may consider filler over Botox for your lip. Hello, sorry to hear you are unhappy with your botox result. It does take up to 3 months for botox to "wear off". You can also have botox placed at the upper lip border to help flip the lip up. Be sure your provider has experience with gummy smile and upper lip botox. Hope this helps, good luck to you!

I'm sorry that you are unhappy with your Botox treatment. There is no reversal agent for Botox, but the effects will wear off gradually over the next weeks and months.

It does not appear that you really needed the Botox for the gummy smile. The good news is that the Botox will slowly resolve over the next month. It should actually improve week to week.
