One breast implant in X-ray looks empty? (Photo)

Hi, x-ray imaging is not used to evaluate breast implants. If you have concerns, be evaluated by your plastic surgeon. Ultrasound or MRI can be ordered if issues are found on physical exam.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

I would suggest seeing what the radiologist said about your implants. It appears that your colon or stomach with air is in the location of your implants on Xray. Air would not be in your implants.

I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation. It is a good idea especially with older implants to have yearly exams by your surgeon just to check for any issues and rule out concerns. A mammogram or ultrasound is frequently used to assess implants. X rays are not.

Talk to a plastic surgeon.

Proper evaluation requires a physical exam and mammogram or maybe US or MRI.

What you are swing is your liver and stomach. You also have significant scoliosis.

As Dr. Eberbach so wisely said, you need plastic surgery eval. A chest xray (CXR) is not done to look at implants. You need a mammogram, ultrasound and in person exam. As he said you also have significant spinal curvature.
