I wasn't ready for my consult. I tried sizers and hubby liked 425cc. Unsure. I didn't think of ?'s for the dr. until later. He measured and said 450hp would be perfect. He said I was a candidate for gummybear at 350cc which sounded small for a D. I paid a deposit for the hp silicone 450cc. I don't know if I can change size at pre-op. I can try sizers again but the dr. won't be there. I want a natural teardrop. The nurse said gummy bear won't give me upper pole fullness but I don't want that.

Answer: Not ready for surgery Two things stand out to me regarding your post: First, you should NEVER have cosmetic surgery until you are FULLY prepared. If you still have questions then you should get them answered before surgery. We throw a lot of information at you during the initial consultation and sometimes you just need to go home and process it a little bit. At that point, you should have the opportunity to address any concerns you might have. If you have questions regarding size, it is best to discuss them before surgery because it's too late to consider them afterwards. Call your doctor's office and tell him about your concerns. He should spend whatever time it takes to prepare you for your surgery. Second, it sounds like your hubby and your doctor are telling you what size to get. Husbands and doctors may come and go but you will be the one who has the implants. While it is nice to get their input, make sure that the final decision regarding size is yours, not theirs.

Answer: Can I change sizes at pre-op appointment? High Profile or Gummy Bear Implants for a natural look? Sounds like you would benefit from additional time spent with your plastic surgeon communicating your goals and discussing options. Best to call your plastic surgeon's office and arrange a second consultation. It is possible that your preoperative appointment will suffice. Make sure that you and your plastic surgeon are on the same page prior to proceeding. Best wishes.
