I was born was asymmetry in my nose. The left side of my nose has more tissue than the right side. I don't know if that contributed to the asymmetry. But it seems like the right side is shifted to the left big time. What would be the best way to get my nose as symmetrical as possible?
Answer: Asymmetric nostrils Facial asymmetry is everywhere... if you look closely for it.If the asymmetry is not out of specification, there is no reason to 'fix' it. Some things are better left alone.Surgery, however clever, will leave some tracks behind, some evidence surgery has been done. This is particularly true about nostril modification.Well designed surgery should always have more plusses than minuses, so make sure you are aware of all the downsides before you proceed.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Asymmetrical Nostrils Of course it depends on a patient’s specific circumstances, but typically an asymmetrical excision can be performed to even up the nostril size.

Answer: Rhinoplasty for asymmetrical nose There are significant asymmetries with the nose, however a full set of photographs are necessary. The nasal bones are crooked which requires osteotomies to straighten them. The patient's left upper lateral cartilage is concave and will require a spreader graft to bolster it outwards. The nostrils themselves are not all that asymmetrical. A full closed rhinoplasty will be necessary. For many examples of asymmetrical noses we have repaired in our practice, please see the link below to our rhinoplasty photo gallery

Answer: What's the best way to fix asymmetrical nostrils? I am not sure that a rhinoplasty would improve the symmetry greatly, but I may have a different opinion after an exam.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Rhinoplasty asymmetry in the thin skinned nose. . Rhinoplasty asymmetry in the thin skinned nose requires a VERY experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who knows how to do what is needed without letting it show. I often see noses like this that have been done that show every "nook and cranny".
