I have 2 deep dimples on both butt cheeks and my doctor suggested BBL. I’m getting married in 7 months, do I have time? (photos)

Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from fat transfer. I instruct my patients not to sit for 2 solid weeks. We provide them a specialized pillow that our patients can sit on during that time. They can sleep on their stomachs or sides. 
Fat viability depends a lot of surgeon technique. The fat has to be placed back into the buttocks as soon as possible so that it has a greater chance of survival. It has to be placed carefully so that not too much fat is placed in only one area.
If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Recovery time differs for each patient.  In general the full length of recovery is about two weeks.  Any strenuous activity should be avoided for 6 weeks.   Complete resolution of swelling may take 6 months to a year. Following your board certified PS's post operative protocols may speed up your recovery process.

Based on your pictures, you are a good candidate for liposuction with fat transfer, to improve your buttocks and fill the dents, and I think you'll get very good results. 7 months is enough time to fully recover.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Thank you for your questions and photos. The Brazilian Butt Lift is done by using harvested fat to create a rounded, projecting buttock and shaping the flank the area. If your goal is to reduce the dimpling in your buttocks, you are a great candidate for fat grafting to those specific areas. It will smooth the buttock and reduce the dimpling. The recovery time will be much quicker than a full Brazilian Butt Lift. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience with fat grafting. You want ~8 weeks or longer to heal from the BBL before your wedding, so you have plenty of time! To avoid bad results, you want to find a board certified PS that does a large number of this procedure. You want to look at before/after photos and reviews. Make sure they have a good number of before/after photos with all different body types. It is best if they have an example that is similar to your body type so you can see realistic results. 

Patients can return to light activity several days after the procedure. After a couple months patients may return to regular activity. Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. A BBL will not fix your dimples and may potentially make them worse.They do not represent a lack of volume or insufficient fat in the area. Instead dimples are caused by connective tissue bands that anchored the skin to the underlying muscle fascia.Certain parts of the body have areas with high density of these connective tissue bands. They are areas that can tolerate high pressure like the soles of the feet, palms of the hands and pressure points on the back of the thighs and buttocks.When meeting with patients in person I demonstrate this through the following example.If you lift the skin on the back of your hand you can tent it up and lift it up from the underlying structures. Not trying to doing that on your mid Palm.you can’t. This is because the skin has connective tissue bands that restrict movement and don’t allow the skin to go beyond a certain distance from the underlying fascia. if you injected fillers or fat under the skin on the palm of the hand this would not change. It would simply leave it a bumpy contour.This is the same process that’s causing the dimples on your buttocks. Another common name for this is cellulite.In order to get anymore even contour the connective tissue bands have to be cut through a process called Subsicion ideally with adding fillers or fat at the same time.There’s a device called Celfina that helps with this process.Adding volume without dealing with the connective tissue bands will make the condition worse since the surrounding areas will expand but the indentation will not.Your best option is to except that this is simply how your body, millions of women have the same thing and that that’s OK.It’s pretty tricky to get these treated to a satisfactory level.Weight gain will most likely make this worse and weight loss may conceivably improve it. I don’t think you’re going to be able to lose weight to the point where this goes away or you see an appreciable difference.The suggestion of simply adding volume shows a provider who doesn’t understand the inherent cause or true diagnosis. It may seem tempting to just want to add volume but those who have tried and failed understand clearly why this is not the correct treatment option.This is only one opinion by one provider and I’m sure others will feel more enthusiastic.
