I had a hernia repair and modified tummy tuck with umbilical float 6 months. I now have this bulge of skin that was not there before on the upper part of abdomen. It is not fluid filled and appears to just be skin. What if anything can be done? Why did this happen? Pics attached.

Looking at your photos, I would bet you would need a full tummy tuck to maximally rejuvenate your abdomen and meet your expectations. There are other options like you mention, like liposuction with a mini skin tuck with, or without umbilical transposition, but I would imagine it would not...
