You have a severely recessed chin so a better option in your case is a sliding genioplasty. The larger chin implants tend to make the chin look wider and more masculine. A sliding genioplasty has the advantage that it can advance your chin up to 9 mm and still appear feminine and narrow. I prefer chin implants when there is only moderate recession of the chin. Chin surgery will greatly improve your facial balance. The genioplasty procedure is performed in the office under intravenous sedation and does not change your bite. Most younger patients can resume normal activities in a few days.

Hello ! thank you for your question I definitely understand what you mean, so I recommend you chin implant NOT: after taking the measurements of the face, they decide which volume is suitable for the face.I recommend you filler jawline with this embroidery, the chin implant shows a more beautiful and feminine little detail but important

Thank you for your question and for providing photos. The goal of chin augmentation is to cater the implant to each person’s individual needs in order to accentuate the rest of the facial features. Silicone implants are the easiest to customize in order to obtain the ideal shape. In some cases, the jawbone may also be moved forward to produce the desired result.
Chin implants are generally malleable and porous so that they can be held in place easily by soft tissue and grow into the existing bone as you heal. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess your aesthetic goals and help you achieve the feminine contour you’re looking for.

You have a very weak chin. A sliding genioplasty or a chin implant are both options. If you were more interested in a chin implant, a larger implant would give you the best result. In women, I recommend using Implantech Conform Extended Anatomical Chin Implant. The largest size I will use is the large, which gives 6.2 mm of projection. I will not use anything larger as I feel there is a risk of bone resorption with use of bigger silicone implants. If I patient desires a larger implant than this, we recommend using MedPor chin implants. We like to use Vectra 3D imaging to help with sizing of the implants.

Unfortunately, the implant types you mentioned are not masculine or feminine. Aesthetics alone is only one possible concern you should be mindful of when deciding the type of implant you choose.
Standard or off-the-shelf implants present many issues, even when the surgery is done correctly. You have a rather soft (very feminine) appearance, and any discrepancies will be noticeable.
A custom chin implant will guarantee the best aesthetic results when designed harmoniously and tastefully. Please learn more about the differences between standard and custom chin implants.

The size of the implant matters much more then the type of implant. Both anatomical and flowers mandibular gloves would work just fine, and probably a size medium, but that me needs to be determined at time of the consultation. The implants can also be custom carved when necessary.In our practice, we place chin implants through a small submental incision under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure.
