I had BBL with fat transfer from the stomach 9 month ago and my stomach area now looks uneven and bumpy. What can be done to correct this issue? I included how my stomach looked before liposuction for reference.
Answer: High Definition VASER Liposuction Hi, thank you for your question. After looking at your pictures you may be the perfect candidate for high definition VASER liposuction and renuvion skin tightening. High definition VASER liposuction is used to target annoying areas of fat and renuvion skin tightening helps create a pleasing aesthetic. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Correcting poorly done liposuction correcting the results of poorly done liposuction is very difficult and after not possible. Some improvements can usually be had. For people who have been over treated or treated in an aggressive manner correcting the outcome becomes more difficult. This afternoon is the case when people have been treated aggressively with VASER. I saw on your profile you wrote a five star review for your provider. It seems overall you were very pleased with your outcome. To me your outcome shows a provider who doesn’t know how to do high-quality liposuction. It’s difficult enough taking a smooth surface and leaving it smooth at the end of the procedure. Taking an uneven service and making it even is many times more difficult. On top of that, if the primary problem is someone being over treated then removing more fat doesn’t make it better it’s simply creates more of a problem. your situation is complex and you need an accurate assessment which cannot be done through virtual consultations. Do you need in person consultations. Anyone who touches your abdomen needs to be a true expert in liposuction and needs to have performed thousands of successful liposuction cases. My practice is devoted exclusively to liposuction and fat transfer. After having done over 7000 liposuction procedures I can tell you from personal experience that is very difficult to correct bad outcomes. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
