The liposuction was in 2016 and I was left with horrible fibrosis (front&back!) Every doctor I've asked either wouldn't do it or said there nothing that can be done! Is that so, or is there something out there which could fix this mess? Dra Yily De Santos assistant says I need a Tummy Tuck. There's no loose skin, nor ever was! My stomach was perfect, flat and even before surgery! Like I would ever consider going back there! SMGDH
Answer: Uneven after liposuction Dear mamadeeone, I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction. This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately. The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well. While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result. Answer: #RevisionLiposuction Im so sorry this happened. no doubt this is very hard to correct. actually I have a patient that I fixed with a smiliar story. I told her she will require 2 procedures and that's exactly what it took. but its all fixed now. I will see if I can post her photos. but I can certainly show them to you if you wanna come for a consultation visit some time. Im in NYC. all I will say is that there is no non-surgical intervention at present time (at least) that can fix what u have. AND, it can def be improved upon without a tummy tuck.

Answer: Liposuction - BBL Unfortunately this is very difficult to correct. The result looks like there is a lot of internal scarring and uneveness which is one of the risks having liposuction performed using heat, like for example VASER, or Smartlipo etc. Smaller non-surgical treatments like Ultherapy may help to improve the uneven appearance.

Answer: Uneven Some patients with similar results have benefited with Sculptra injections, usually at least 2 sessions 6 weeks apart. You had too much fat removed too superficially which left an uneven appearance.

Answer: Correcting poorly done liposuction poorly done liposuction is difficult to correct and after not possible. The other surgeons you spoke to our correct. This is especially true in people who have been over treated. The primary problem it's not fibrosis or scar tissue but rather too much fat was removed in an uneven fashion. I'm guessing your procedure was done using a VASER. Even a full tummy tuck will not mitigate the uneven for distribution. It will simply pull your skin tight. In general liposuction and corrections are done with revision liposuction, fat transfer, a combination of both or excision of skin in the affected area. Fat transfer works poorly to create even contours and has a poor survival rate because over treated areas now lack host tissue to support the graft. Revision liposuction is not a good option because the primary problem is too much fat was removed in the first place. All of that said, some improvements can almost always be had with the above options. The results are often not sufficient to justify the procedure but for some people it can be. Your individual case is too complex to give a yes or no answer on a real self post. Resist the temptation to believe that "breaking up the scar tissue" using the a VASER it's going to correct this. It will simply put you through a procedure that will leave less fat and more scar tissue. I have said this numerous times before. Delivering consistent high-quality results in liposuction is far more difficult than people believe. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of choosing the best providers for these procedures. I read your previous post and no it did your procedure. It seems mind-boggling that someone who delivers those results can have 1900+positive reviews on real self. For others reading this post encourage you to see through the manipulation and self-promotion omnipresent on the Internet. The best plastic surgeons do not have the most number of reviews, do not spend time on social media and not pay for advertising. You did well by posting your review which is honest and accurate. I find it interesting how many providers with that many reviews have the majority of reviews written before the patients have even had their procedure. My practice is devoted exclusively to liposuction and fat transfer procedures. It has been for the last decade. We service patient advocates first and foremost. Unfortunately in your case there's little that can be done to correct the outcome. Sorry I do not have any more optimistic views or options. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
