My son was born with a cervical midline cleft which was surgical corrected when he was 2 months old. However, now he is 3 and has very tight platysma bands when he flexes the muscle (Ex: Drinking/Eating). I have consulted 2 plastic surgeons who suggested removing the bands all together but I was hoping not to have to open his scar back up.
