My lips now have a white-colored, almost scaly discoloration on them. It's been almost a week since the injection. And I've noticed a few bumps as well....that look almost like pimples.

Swelling can be typical. Icing and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results, but this may be superficially placed filler. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

Swelling is normal with lip fillers. The swelling can last 1 to 2 weeks. Sleep with your head elevated .Ice on and off the first day can diminish swelling and bruising. Evaluate your lips after 2 weeks...if need be adjustments can be made in your filler.See your injector at that point if an...
