I was left with this lump on my butt after a fall on the edge of a pool. It is soft and feels exactly like the rest of my butt. I was old by multiple surgeons that they could just lipo it out or i could do kybella on it, but i just want to get more opinions before spending a lot of money on a procedure. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Answer: Deep scar Very likely this is a deep scar after original trauma. Liposuction may have some success but, very likely, excision of the tissue and shaping may be more precisely done with direct excision, placing the scar in buttock crease. In person evaluation would help. Good luck.

Answer: Lump This post traumatic problem could be hematoma related. Complete Correction may not be possible but very limited liposuction with bodytite would be my personal suggestion. Good luck

Answer: I fell on the edge of a pool 6 years ago and was left with this lump. It feels soft like the rest of my butt. Help!! You must understand a long lasting traumatic swelling with internal scar fat growth and stretched skin may need multiple procedures. I would start with "directed" superficial lipo/pickle fork release of area with specialized taping of area. Plus aggressive external ultra sound therapies with massaging area for 12-30 days. After 1 month re evaluation of results ad if still issues, stage 2 would be directed excision of areas for excess skin and internal scarred fat. This will leave a scar. If after a few months the scar is noticeable a decorative tattoo can be added. Expect total fees in the $10,000 ranges.

Answer: Extra skin over you upper posterior thigh Liposcution will not help your concern area as your concern is related to redundant skin and not excess fat. Please consider a consutlation with a high definition body contouring procedure.

Answer: Trauma related bump There are a few red flags from what you’ve described. Localized trauma if it causes a contour change is more likely to have caused fat necrosis rather than fullness. Fullness could be due to an old blood collection called the hematoma that could have calcified and befall of scar tissue. To get a clear understanding of what that lump is requires doing some type of radiologic evaluation. The easiest would be getting an ultrasound. If you have medical insurance then I don’t see why it wouldn’t cover getting that evaluated. The area itself is also tricky to do body contouring. Your problem area is in an area sometimes referred to as the banana roll. In this area the skin tends to bulge and bunch up in an upright standing position. To allow for hip flexion the skin is compressed in a standing position and under pressure or tight with the hips fully flexed. it may be useful to see what the contour looks like when you flex your hips or bend over. Liposuction of this area because of the skin bulge does not always create the contour effects patients and surgeons had hoped for. Liposuction may or may not be appropriate and it may or may not deliver the results you want but it is not an easy situation or area to do a straightforward assessment or get consistent Liposuction results.
