You sound pretty unhappy about the injection so removing the Juvederm would be appropriate. An injection into the lip itself might be better. You need to communicate better with your injector to achieve your results. If that's not possible seek an expert injector. Warmest regards, Dr. Aldo

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry that your results have not been what you expected.  I would allow another week to pass to see what your long-term results after filler placement will be.  If the fullness along the lips border remain, and are worrisome, have the product dissolved to restore your previous appearance.  Volume and shape to the lip is best obtained with placement in the red portion of the lip.  Hope this helps.

Putting filler into the vermillion works well for patients who like to really define the shape of the lip and use lip liner to do this.  Even for those patients, you don't want to put too much in there or you can distort the appearance of the lips. Some filler into the body of the lip will help to give you the volume you want.  You could wait a bit longer as they may still go down some in size.  If not, you will have to have it removed with hyaluronidase and start over.   

I'm sorry you're unhappy with your treatment.  It's best to wait for 2 weeks after your procedure before any further treatment just to ensure swelling has all subsided.  At that point you may want to have the current filler dissolved and try a different technique.

If you are unhappy with your lip fillers you should have them reversed with Vitrase and start over.  Please consult an expert in lip injections for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green

Your lips may decrease in size a bit more over the next few days. But, if you are unhappy, you should have your injector dissolve the product with hyaluronidase. You should talk more with your injector about what you desire, so that might be addressed more precisely.

Thank you for your question and sharing your photos.  Injecting the vermilion border of the lip helps better define the shape of the lip, especially when done properly with injecting the philtral columns.  Please wait the full two weeks to allow all the swelling to subside and revisit your expert dermatologist or plastic surgeon injector.  

She may decide to inject in the cutaneous portion of the lip to help smooth the transition to the vermilion border.  If you are still dissatisfied with the appearance, your physician can feather the filler by dissolving small portions with hyaluronidase.

Try a few drops of hyaluronidase to dissolve the arts in question. Or wait it out fir a few months.

I can see your problem. I would try to inject above the lip to the make the transition less noticeable. I think that injecting into the lip will exacerbate the problem. I use cannulas in a horizontal fashion to do this. If you don't think this will help, I'd dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase.
