Had my injections done four days ago and I hate the look that resemble fish lips and the shape of my lips. Unfortunately I wanted to try a new doctor and regret this choice dearly. I have an overfilled cupids bow and my lips have no shape. Please someone help. Would getting more juvederm to maybe fix the shape help if anything??
Answer: How to Fix Fishlips Hi Ms Sandoval. Sorry to hear about your situation. You do have the option of adding more product but that may not be the best option right now given how unhappy you are. You could also dissolve the product and start over. Vitrase (Hyaluronidase) is used to dissolve products like Restylane and Juvederm so that you can go back to looking the way you were prior to the injections. Answer: Unhappy with Lip Augmentation with Juvederm--Reverse with Hyaluronidase After 4 days, you have swelling, which will last 1-2 weeks after your injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase or have a touch-up depending on the results you want. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Juvederm side effects The most common side effects of Juvederm include tenderness, swelling, firmness, bruising, pain, and redness. Most side effects last 14 days or less. Since you had your injections 4 days ago it would be advisable to wait for the swelling to reduce before getting more injections. Speak with an experienced clinician for future injections and to discuss options of either dissolving the current filler with hyaluronidase, or injecting more Juvederm.

Answer: Juvederm and Fixing the Shape of Your Lips Thank you for your question. It is too early to determine what your final results will be. At 4 days you still have swelling. It will take up 2 weeks for all swelling to resolve and to see your final results. If after 2 weeks you are unhappy with your results you can have it dissolved with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. You can also have a touch up of Juvederm. Please make sure you are seeing an expert injector. Best of Luck!

Answer: Lip Redo Thank you for your photos. If you are happy with your current size and/or want to go bigger, you can additional filler placed to help change and alter your current shape. Since you are describing your cupid's bow as overfilled, you may do better with having the current filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and then have your lips injected after two weeks for a fresh start. You should visit an experienced injector who is willing to take the time to listen to your goals and sculp your lips into the specific shape you ask for. Hope this helps!Johnson C.
