I'm having dental work on upper side of mouth teeth which will need novacaine injections to numb area. So this coupled with my mouth opened wide. Will novacaine interfere with juvederm?

Answer: Novacaine, dental work and Juvederm Hello dudeman1,Thank you for sharing your question and concern with us. Assuming your Juvederm is already placed and the time frame for resolution of swelling and or bruising (1-2 weeks) has passed (fairly usual recommendation) then dental work and novacaine will not interfere with this. Regarding novacaine as you know this is a common local anesthetic of which Juvederm uses a "cousin" of novacaine called lidocaine mixed into the product to make the injections less uncomfortable. Fear not.
