Slender, 48, 5”1, 100 lbs. I had breast implant almost 10 years ago. I was happy with the results back then. After working out and gravity pulled over time, the shape of my breasts changed. I feel like I have side boobs and one side is lower than the other. Question that need advice: 1. My current breasts are not bad but it’s not great. Surgery is NOT guarantee, should I move forward with the revision or stay with where I am. I’m worried that the surgery may not improve but worse
Answer: Breast implant revision Hello ! Deciding whether to move forward with breast implant revision surgery is a personal decision that should be made after careful consideration of the potential risks and benefits. It's important to have realistic expectations about the outcome of the surgery, as well as a clear understanding of the potential risks involved. If you are unhappy with the current shape of your breasts, and it is affecting your self-confidence, then breast implant revision surgery may be worth considering. However, it's important to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon who can assess your individual needs and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan. During the consultation, the surgeon will evaluate your breast shape and size, skin quality, and implant position to determine the best course of action. The surgeon may recommend removing the current implants and replacing them with new ones, adjusting the position of the implants, or performing a breast lift to improve the overall shape of your breasts. It's important to remember that there are risks associated with any surgical procedure, including breast implant revision surgery. These risks can include bleeding, infection, scarring, and changes in nipple or breast sensation. It's important to discuss these risks with your surgeon and make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed with the surgery. In summary, if you are unhappy with the shape of your breasts and feel that it is affecting your self-confidence, it may be worth considering breast implant revision surgery. However, it's important to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon, have realistic expectations, and weigh the potential risks and benefits before making a decision. I hope this helps, best of luck !

Answer: Revision surgery Dear DNP, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Revision You have sagged with time. I would suggest going with smaller implants and lifting your breasts so that hopefully you will hold the smaller size up longer.
