I hate my profile. I figure I need fillers in my deep chin crease and I absolutely hate my nostrils/nose but I can't pinpoint what needs to be or could be done to change the overexposed nostrils. I don't think I need my jaw sculpted because if I just lose 20 lbs my jaw will become more defined again. Agree, disagree? Suggestions?

Answer: What can be done about my hanging columella and overexposed nostrils? The photograph is rather limited, however it is difficult to tell whether not there is a hanging columella present or retracted nostrils, or both. A columella-plasty accomplishes bringing in the columella in relationship to the nostrils. Nostril retraction is best treated with composite skin/ cartilage grafts harvested from the ear. Answer: Nasal Flare on profile Hi, thank you for your question it is hard to tell much from one photo, a lot of factors contribute to the nasal flare. Smile muscles can cause the nostrils to flare, even after some of the surgeries you might be interested in reading more about such as alar base reduction.Flared nostrils surgery corrects nostril flaring for static facial expressions. If the flared nose is due to nasal tip cartilage, a tip rhinoplasty can be done. Seek a trained plastic surgeon in your area for better advice. Hope this helps
