Will having a septum piercing get in the way of a non surgical-rhinoplasty?

Earlier this year I got a non surgical rhinoplasty to lift the tip of my nose. 2 months after getting the fillers I got a septum piercing. I plan on going back in (when it’s time) to touch up my nose filled but was wondering if my septum piercing would get in the way since the filler gets objected to the tip of my nose.

The nasal septum is far from the nasal tip. I don't think that this would pose a problem for you with fillers in the future. Obviously, this is something to discuss with your doctor. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Having the septum piercing should not get in the way of a non-surgical-rhinoplasty.  You might opt to remove the septum piercing to make it easier for the PS to inject the fillers.

Thank you for your question. Any piercing could pose a threat of infection if near to the area injected. You would need to remove the piercing before the procedure and it should not be put back in until the nose has fully settled.

septal piercing will not get in the way of non—surgical nose job.  In our practice, we do not recommend non-surgical nose job especially in the tip of the nose since it is only temporary, and can have rare but significant complications such as skin necrosis. It is also not FDA approved for that application.  Consider a surgical rhinoplasty to permanently lift the nasal tip
