The first picture shows my current resting face. I look very sad and I hate it. In the second picture I lift my cheeks up and it looks so much prettier. I’ve lost around 80 lb and I used to smoke. I’m only 25 but can a facelift be relevant? It feels like my face is too soft and saggy to just put filler in it. When I lean forward my cheeks just hangs. My mouth always looks sad. The more I look into different treatments the more confused I get.

Answer: Options for face Ordinarily I would not think that facelift type of surgery would be indicated in someone your age. However patients who lose large amounts of fat sort of "age" differently. You have good questions but I really think you need to be examined by a good facial cosmetic surgeon in order to get the best advise. There's some things that photos alone just don't answer. Good luck.

Answer: Fillers or facelift after 80 pound weight loss? Hi Mathilda, I agree with all the docs below. You do not need a facelift at all. Frankly, I don't think that you need fillers either. Smile more- You are 25, lost 80 lbs and are very pretty. If you smile, you will not look sad. If you absolutely had to have something, I agree that Sculptra is a good filler or the cheeks.Good Luck, dear.Best,Dr. Christine Rodgers
