Answer: Is 6.5 hours for a mommy makeover the amount of time I will be under anesthesia? Hello @Chinny21, thank you for your question. IAn operating room is always the safest place for surgery if everything is in order. Having a pre-anesthesia consultation allows you to understand what type of anesthesia will be used during your procedure and what to expect during the procedure and afterwards. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Time MMO Hello! Thank you for sharing your doubts with us. The surgery time will depend on several factors, the main one is the complexity involved in each specific case, the truth is that the longer the surgical time extends, the more risks and complications could be faced. In our medical practice it usually takes us 3 hours to perform this procedure.

Answer: Anesthesia Typically surgical time for elective plastic surgery is recommended to be 6 hours or less. You are right around this recommendation. As long as you are healthy you should not experience increased risk. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. It is important that you feel comfortable and confident as you prepare for surgery.
