Hi, I am 5’4 150lbs. I just had my second and last c section in January and im looking to have a mommy make over in January 2023. I have rectus abdominis. Id like to get a lift and implants as well as lipo and a tuck but i also kind of wanted to see if i could get a fat transfer to get rid of my hip dips. Is this possible all under one procedure?
Answer: Combining procedures Combining procedures is common and considered safe, but there is a limit. Typically elective plastic surgery is kept to about 6 hours of surgical time or less. We welcome you to visit us in our Houston office for a consultation. Together we can decide on what is best for you after an evaluation and discussion of your goals.

Answer: Fat Doing liposuction of the flank area may show that you no longer have "hip dips' and just had excess fat in the flanks. Fat can also be removed from the lateral thighs as well if needed. I suggest keeping surgery below a 5 hour limit for safer anesthesia outcomes.

Answer: Lift, implants, lipo, tuck & fat graft to hip dips in 1 procedure Combining multiple procedures like a breast lift, implants, liposuction, tummy tuck, and fat grafting to address hip dips in a single surgery is possible but quite extensive. It's commonly known as a "mommy makeover" when it involves procedures for both the breasts and abdomen. The feasibility of combining these surgeries largely depends on various factors including: Health and Safety: Your overall health and medical history play a significant role in determining the safety of multiple procedures under one anesthesia. Surgical Complexity: Combining several surgeries can increase the complexity and duration of the operation. Surgeons need to ensure that the procedures can be safely performed within a reasonable timeframe to minimize complications. Recovery: Recovery from multiple surgeries done simultaneously can be more challenging compared to individual procedures. Your surgeon will provide detailed post-operative care instructions to manage recovery effectively. Individual Anatomy: Each person's anatomy is unique, and the suitability of combining these procedures can vary based on your specific body structure and the desired outcomes. It's crucial to have a thorough consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. They will assess your health, discuss your goals, explain the risks and benefits, and help create a personalized plan that aligns with your expectations while prioritizing safety. Remember, while it might be tempting to consolidate multiple surgeries into one session for convenience, your health and safety should be the primary concern. Therefore, follow your surgeon's recommendations and ensure you're comfortable with the proposed plan before proceeding.

Answer: Mommy Makeover Hello! Thank you for contacting us! Ideally, you should have a breast lift with implants, and a tummy tuck with muscle repair, in addition to these, flank liposuction. In a second round 1 year post-op, have a liposuction of your back, waist, abdomen, bbl and fat transfer to hips, this plan will optimize your results.

Answer: 2 surgeries is the safest The safe operation time is 6 hours. I would begin with your breasts and tummy tuck and then the 2nd procedure would be liposuction with fat transfers. I do not believe it would be safe to do all these procedures in one operation. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
