At a consult the doctor said he wouldnt do implants at the same time as mastopexy because of circulation. He said after I heal and decide I want implants the tissue would be healthier. Why would this be? Other docs said they could do both and I am just trying to make the best decision . Any thoughts-Thank you!
Answer: Opinions differ between physicians for a number of reasons Some plastic surgeons are more conservative than others and don’t like performing mastopexy and augmentation at the same time. Rarely, there are patients that for one reason or another would likely have complications if both operations are performed at this same time, but again, this isn’t very common.

Answer: Mastopexy Same Time As Implants Yes, most patients are able to get implants at the same time as a breast lift. This can truly only be determined after doing a physical exam by a board-certified plastic surgeon.
