29F - Acculift or mini facelift? Or buccal fat removal for a slimmer face? (Photos)

Question

Masseter Botox did not work for me. As a 29F who has always had a round face with chubby cheeks, I would like to address either my cheek or chin fat. I consulted a doctor who advised either acculift or mini face lift. Given I am still in my 20s, I think the face lift option would be too soon… Buccal fat removal is another viable option, but I’m just not sure if I am a good candidate. Please advise, thank you!

You seem like someone who would do very well with buccal fat removal, and possibly accutite as well depending upon your areas of concern. We do buccal fat frequently (and accutite), in the office and you can drive yourself home afterwards.  Watch our videos for more information.

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these photos, you have a well defined jaw line and fuller lower face, with the right side fuller than the left. If you were my patient, I would suggest buccal fat pad removal. This is done through a small 1 cm incision inside the cheeks. It will give you a more oval lower face. BTW, Botox injection in the masseters always works, unless it was injected in the wrong area.  See a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

You could try the acculift. The procedure has been around for a while and is intended to thin out a heavy face. I’ve never done it and it never really caught on as a procedure so keep your expectations modest

Your best option is a combination under local of lipo, facetite and morpheus.  It is so easy to undergo and with only 1 day downtime. It would make such a dramatic improvement and look very natural. Cost is on special  for only $4750.

Facial aesthetics are primarily determined by bone structure. Soft tissue coverage tends to be very consistent from person in person. What differentiates the facial appearance of each individual person is based on their facial, skeletal structure.
This is what differentiates those who are more attractive or less attractive, or have unique recognizable features.
Recognize than any Attempt at soft tissue manipulation to treat a problem that is primarily based on bone structure is going to be an air limited and give you partial improvements at best.
Because soft tissue procedures are not addressing the primary problem, I would be apprehensive about having permanent irreversible surgery at such a young age when there’s really nothing wrong with your face.
