I had a neck lift 4 weeks ago. Within the second week I felt a pop under my chin when I stifled a yawn. I contacted my surgeon and he said not to be too concerned as there are many internal stitches and that we'd keep an eye on it. After 4 weeks, I have odd protrusions under my chin. Surgeon said it could be muscles that moved when stitch popped but we'd have to wait and see. Is there a chance this could just be swelling or build up that will contour in time or will surgery be necessary?
