I have the 2 horizontal lines since I was 15 maybe even before and I am curious as to why I have these?! Was I born with them?! I am 33 and just wondering if these look bad and what type of treatments are out there if I wanted to get rid of them. Is this a normal thing?!

Answer: Unwanted neck skin creases Many people dislike the horizontal neck creases which develop throughout out life. (these sometimes run from ear to ear). Necks are very mobile and usually flexible, so we move our heads and necks hundreds of times daily. Therefore over time the skin gets pushed/pulled/stretched and this creates creases in the skin. Overtime, permanent deeper creases form. While this is annoying to some, it is not an abnormality. Neck lift surgery can help soften these but does not eradicate them, especially the deeper ones.

Answer: Neckl lines Yes these lines are most likely congenital meaning they have been there since birth. Since they are normal and seen in many young people I don't think they are a major sign of aging or necessarily look bad. However as the neck ages they may look worse as you develop loose skin and these lines begin to look like folds. To treat the lines at this stage, you need superficial treatment with thin fillers that can be placed superficially or micro/nano fat grafting.
