From your photos, you appear to be a much better candidate for less invasive procedures than a necklift to improve your appearance.  I would consider Botox as a first step and possibly some fillers along the jawline to tighten this area up.  You can certainly find someone who will take your money and promise you what you want to hear, but be very cautious before heading down that road.

Hello Addy, Thank you for your question and the photos.  At your age, I would suggest some non-surgical alternatives to a neck lift and see if you like the results.  As other mentioned, Botox or Dysport have been used successfully to help relax the muscles in the neck.  In addition, Ultherapy, is a non-surgical ultrasonic treatment that can help tighten the neck.  At your age, I would anticipate that you probably have good elasticity to your skin and could achieve nice results.  You always have the option of having  a neck lift in the future if you aren't happy with your results.  Best of luck to you.

Using small incisions camouflaged around your ears, the neck skin can be pulled laterally and tightened to smooth out your skin.

I completely understand your concerns. I do see the platysma banding on the photos. Given you age and anatomy of your neck I think you would benefit from non-surgical interventions at this time. You should probably consult with a Plastic Surgeon to address your concerns, get a formal in person evaluation, and discuss your options.

Thanks so much for including your photos.Even given your young age I agree that your neck seems to be aging a little faster than the remainder of your lower and mid face.This may be due to multiple factors - some in your control, weight change, smoking and sun exposure; and some out of your control, family traits for one.The good news is that this can be managed for the time being non-surgically. Botox to the bands can relax the muscle responsible and reduce or eliminate them for 3-4 months at a time. If that is not sufficient you could add some non surgical tightening like Thermage to the area to help the skin re-drape overtop.Continue to avoid smoking and make sure you have a good skin care regimen and you should get years of real correction before you even need to think about surgery.Talk to some certified Plastic Surgeons in your area, with luck you will be pleasantly surprised!All the best.Dr Nodwell

Your age alone should not dictate whether or not you are a candidate for a neck lift.   Surely, there are patients out there who have lost 200 pounds after a gastric banding who are in their 20s and are candidates for neck lift with all of the loose, sagging skin. Of course, your situation is nowhere near as significant. The skin your pictures is very slight, minimal sagging.  To perform a neck lift for this minimal degree of sagging would be overkill. However, there are non-invasive options which offer mild skin tightening which would be ideal for your situation.   You could be a candidate for Clearlift, Ultherapy, Thermitight, etc.  all of these modalities offer a mild skin tightening which will not replace the role of surgery in patients with more severe sagging. However, they may be appropriate in your scenario, and I would recommend a visit with a plastic surgeon or board-certified doc who might be able to offer you these noninvasive options. I understand your concerns and appreciate your sharing your photos.  While a neck lift would work to address your neck bands, they are on the mild side.  Given your age, I would recommend trying treatment of the neck bands with botox or Dysport.  In a case like yours you can almost eliminate those bands without surgery giving you the neck contour you want.  If that treatment does not meet your needs, you can then move on to a surgical option.  I would recommend skipping the non-surgical treatments at this time because they can tighten skin slightly but will not eliminate the neck bands.  Botox and non-surgical tightening with Ultherapy would also be a good option.  You have to decide which of the treatment plans gives you the best cost:benefit ratio.
