Both procedures are radio frequency heating treatments done under the skin. The main difference is that facetite is bipolar, rather than monopolar. this allows for more focused heating that is safer and more effective. 

You had a number of procedures performed at once so its not unusual to. have signifiant swelling.  See your surgeon to ensure there is no sign of infection.  Follow your surgeons post surgical protocol. 

Hi Antonellabettinardi,Although not 'imperative,' it is definitely recommended to have a pressure dressing after FaceTite, as it will help swelling subside much faster.  That being said, not wearing the wrap or girdle theoretically shouldn't affect the eventual result.Best wishes,Dr. Jay

Hi NicoleTaylor1228,Alcohol can slow the healing process, so it is possible that it takes longer for swelling and bruising to come down.  It is unlikely that you 'ruined' the procedure for yourself.  Follow closely with your surgeon.  Remember the final result is closer to the 6 month mark.Best...
