Birth control pills increase your risk of blood clots. The risk is low of developing a symptomatic clot with a BBL but would be increased slightly with someone on birth control pills. Some surgeons require patients to stop taking them prior to surgery others explain the risk and decide along with the patient whether to stop. Discuss this with your surgeon. Best of luck.
Birth control pills may increase your risk of developing a deep vein thrombosis. You should ask your surgeon if you should stop taking them.

Thank you for your question. I myself don't require patients to stop taking birth control but have known of surgeons who require patients to stop using hormonal contraceptives at least 30 days prior to surgery.
I have no experience with the booty pillow but if your not applying direct pressure to the area (which is the whole point in not lying on your back) then that may be okay to try. I would definitely ask your surgeon first.
