I fell on some rocks from a balcony. It’s been like this for 5 months. What kind or type or doctor should I see for a hematoma or seroma? Went to the ER they said it goes away in 6months. The bruise went away but not the swelling. What should I do?

I would need to examine you to tell. If there is still fluid present this can be removed by needle aspiration (sucking the fluid out with a needle). I suspect that you have had some injury to the fat and now have a depressed area that is making the adjacent area look more protruding. If this is the case this can be corrected with liposuction of the full area and fat grafting to the depressed area. This may need more than one treatment to gets a perfect result. I would see a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience with liposuction and fat grafting.

If you decided to engage in medical tourism (which I never advise for this exact reason), then I suggest you find a local plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to be evaluated.Best of luck!

If you have a seroma then it might need an evacuation. It is best that you visit a board certified plastic surgeon for further assessment.
