Can filler injected in smile lines move? (photos)

I had 0.5ml in each smile line few days ago, princess voluma. I am freaking big time, it feels like some of the filler has moved past the smile line to the side of my nose where it is giving me a dull ache, I didn’t think filler moved when injected what cud cause this. the left side is really tight when I try smile & I keep getting twitching under the skin. All she has said is wait 2wks but if it’s by my nose can’t it potentially move to my eye & blind me or cause damage if it moves elsewhere?

Without photos, it’s difficult to say for sure what would work for you. I would caution you that these are very high risk areas in that there are a lot of blood vessels that connect to blood vessels that supply the eye. So make sure you only go to a very high skilled and experienced  ...

 Voluma when injected deep on top of the bone ( eg. cheek bones or jawline bone -bellow the masetter) should last up to 2 years in my experience.

Hi @ochiexx! Lumps and swelling can occur after dermal fillers. can be typical. I would recommend massaging the area and applying ice. I would wait a full 2 weeks before dissolving the lump with Hylenex. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
