The surgeon put in too big implants. I feel how its so heavy for my body and i cant stand being without bra.. being without bra was the most important about my surgery.. when can i take it out of my body? And is my muscle destroyed now? I feel bad for putting my muscle through this because i workout so much and it was way too big than i thought….
Answer: Surgery You did not state when you had surgery, but ideally you should wait 6 months to let your tissues heal. However, your tissue will shrink better if the implants are removed and exchanged for something smaller prior to 6 months. You do need to wait a minimum of 6 weeks. Please discuss this with your surgeon.

Answer: How long do you need to wait? Hello, thank you for your question. I'm sorry you're feeling this way. It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of discomfort and frustration with your implants. There is no waiting period to have your implants removed. Your surgeon can assess the situation and recommend the best course of action to address any concerns about your muscle health and function. Be sure to visit a board-certified plastic surgeon to address your needs. If you choose to have your implants removed, do some research on removing the entire implant and capsule with ENBLOC procedure, so there is no remaining capsule left behind causing symptoms later on. I hope that this helps!

Answer: How long do I need to wait to explant or change? Hi @N_rubeyi, thank you for your question. I recommend waiting at least 3 months after being implanted before changing or removing the prostheses. On the other hand, the pectoralis muscle generally has the ability to return to its condition in a short time. When the explantation is performed combined with an immediate aesthetic reconstruction (rearrangement of the breast tissue to give breast projection, in my case with my BRALAN technique), unless there is a pathology that prevents it, a rupture or something special, the muscle can return to make the contraction and remain in its place. If you are considering breast explantation, consultation with a plastic surgeon experienced in this procedure is essential to ensure optimal results. Best of luck! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: Implant exchange I'm sorry your results are not what you are hoping for. You can elect to have the implants removed at any time, however depending how far out from surgery you are, you may want to wait. It can take up to six months for you to see your final results. During this time swelling will resolve, and your implants will drop and soften. This may change the way you view your results.

Answer: Breast revision surgery Thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your implant size. Patients who are interested in a revision will need to wait at least a year post-op before going in for a consultation. Your body will take some time to recover from the procedure and these changes will impact the consult. Other clinics may have different policies, but our team recommends these waiting periods to ensure accurate treatment plans and expectations.
