Nose made bigger with rib. Can I get a smaller nose back?

Question

Hey doctors, I had primary that was a success in the beginning, my nose was made small and cute. Unfortunately, with time it collapsed. Another doctor build my nose up with RIB and stretched my skin with 5 mm, making it bigger than my own birth nose. I feel so depressed over this. He used a SPLF graft over the bridge. I have an awful high radix and bridge now. Looking too masculine. Is it possible for me to get a smaller nose back? Solid rib was used. Thank you!

I agree your nose is too large with the rib graft and it is also too long. The rib graft can be removed but it is unknown what your nose might look like without it. You may still need a graft in the bridge but one that is smaller.

I agree that your nose is certainly larger after your revision surgery. I hope that you were at least breathing better. Your tip appears over projected and droopy, and I agree that your bridge is a bit too high. I don't believe you mentioned how far along you are after surgery. After revision rhinoplasty, swelling can be present for over a year. If you cannot gain an adequate explanation from your revision surgeon, please get a copy of your operative report and consult with another reputable rhinoplasty specialist. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, a revision could be performed to give your nose a more feminine appearance. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
