Can I still have my Breast Augmentation if I had mole removed last week?

Congratulations on choosing breast enhancement and also most importantly the surveillance of different lesion lesions on your body. Keeping moles in check is a very important part of a healthy lifestyle. Having moles removed prior to breast augmentation should be no problem. I would check with your plastic surgeon and call them soon to make sure that it is okay. Often times when I see patients in consultations I'll mention these moles and then biopsy or take care of these moles prior to surgery or during breast augmentation. Is important to know that these moles are not worrisome. Your plastic surgery may want the biopsy results to come back prior to any breast augmentation to make sure that the moles were not worrisome. Otherwise there should be no problem. It is very common for me to take off a mole or two during a breast augmentation. Keep up on checking on moles. Best wishes.

I would not be concerned from these things, I dont think they will be colozied and increase the chance of infection. Being so small its not much of a difference from a scrape

If you are considering breast augmentation, any incision, and have a healing wound on the breast, I would not do the breast augmentation till all the wounds are completely healed. Why take risks.Samir Shureih MD. FACSsshureih@msn.com

It should be ok if things are healing well. Obviously if there is an infection or wound healing issue that is different. Best to check with your surgeon.

I agree with others that you must check with your plastic surgeon first and foremost.  Your surgeon will make the decision.The only risk is that if the incision site formal removal becomes irritated or infected it could create a risk for your breast implants.  I would worry less about this since you're having a trans-axillary breast augmentation but in my practice with a fresh surgical wound on the breast less than 6 weeks old I would most likely delay surgery.
