What size implant is best for breast width of 14 inches?

This is always a difficult decision for some. In my opinion, the best thing to do is have a thorough sizing session. I provide my patients with a range of about 3-4 implants that are appropriate for their specific measurements. I then have them try these implants on in a special sizing bra. With this process, my patients have been able to choose their own implants. I have found this to be the best method for implant sizing. Be sure to see a board certified PS in your area. you have not told us your bra size. If
you are 32 or 34 each 100 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size
change. If you are 36 or 38 each 200
cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. From this, you can compute the volume
required to achieve your desired goal. I
always recommend small round textured silicone gel implants placed
retro-pectoral since they look and feel more natural, are more stable, less
likely to ripple or have complications needing revision. Implant profile is irrelevant in the retro-pectoral

Ultimately, careful communication of your goals, careful measurements (dimensional planning),  careful selection of appropriate breast implants and skillful execution of the procedure will be important steps in achieving your goals.
 
Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:




1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully.  Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you're looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.





2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals  with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining  breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals.
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural”  or “B or C cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
 Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup  size may also be inaccurate.



The use of computer imaging technology may also be helpful to patients;  this technology allows patients to visualize what their breasts may look like with different sizes/profiles of breast implants. I have found this modality to be a nice addition to the communication “tools” available.
3.  Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly,  allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals.  Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery.

If so, then there are other measurements he will have done, to help him decide which breast implants sizes and projections are appropriate for your body size and shape. In my practice, I would then discuss with you the various options available to you, and work together with you, depending on your preferences, to find the best choice for you. Plastic Surgeons have many years of specialisation and various skills to assist you in this decision making. If you are not sure which way to go, I would suggest another discussion with your Plastic Surgeon.On the other hand, if you obtained your breast width because you have read somewhere about breast measurements or heard from someone else, then there is a specific point to take your measurements, and these need to be correctly measured, and used in combination with the other measurements required, before you can look at the different implant options suitable for you.So, speaking to your Plastic Surgeon is, in my opinion, the best next step for you. For, however well meaning opinions are on an online website, they cannot substitute for a face-to-face assessment and discussion.At the end of your consultation with your Plastic Surgeon, you should have enough information to help you in your decision making.

It is important since you have a small delicate body frame that you do not have a breast implant that is too large.  I agree that a 14 cm with considering you're size would be very unusual.  Try to take a tape measure and major from the beginning of your fold at the middle of your chest out to the end of your fold at the side of your breast.I agree that your choice of size is most important resident blindly following a chart of breast implant recommendations.  You should undergo a breast implant sizing system evaluation during which implants of various sizes were placed into your sports bra.  Please see a board certified plastic surgeon who has an outstanding reputation in your community.

At 110 pounds, I find it almost inconceivable your breast width is 14 cm. I bet it's closer to 12 or 12.5 cm. It is a very subjective measurement, but if you measure past the front fold of the armpit you will wind up with an implant that goes so far around your side it will be significantly oversized. You can measure it yourself. Draw a line straight down from where your breast ends closest to your breastbone. Then draw a line straight down from the front fold of the armpit and measure between the two lines. The measurement must be done below your breast. If you measure across the breast it will bee too long. An implant with that width will give you something between a C and a full D depending on your own breast volume.
