i am having my procedure done in the beginning of the summer and i know i want be able to tan until 6 weeks after which is why i want to tan before my procedure, can i sun tan before it?
Answer: Sun tan before rhinoplasty I usually advise protecting the skin from strong sunshine for 3 months before and 3 months after a rhinoplasty. Strong sun exposure causes inflammation of the skin. A tan means skin has had high sun exposure. Inflammation will risk more temporary or even permanent swelling after rhinoplasty. I advise a complete sun block cream for the 3 months before and 3 months after. And maybe a good hat with a peak or brim! Sun is usually less of a problem here in the UK. Good luck.

Answer: Can I suntan before a rhinoplasty? Suntanning is acceptable prior to rhinoplasty procedure, however is not a good idea to have a sunburn immediately prior to the rhinoplasty procedure. Remember to use your sunscreen/ sunblock
