Botox into the anal area usually last 3 to 4 months, but it depends on the dosage used and the exact location injected and the condition being treated such as anismus, anal fissures, etc. You do not need to see a colorectal surgeon for this as they are extremely unlikely to know anything about Botox injections. Make sure you physician has experience with these injections.
