Humble222.   Sorry this happened to you but a photograph would be helpful to determine your best options for treatment. Those options include laser, steroid injection or direct excision. I recommend you consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to explore your options. Best of luck.

Facial redness can be improved with a combination of lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) and microneedling/prp. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Without knowing the specifics about the Botox treatment to your forehead 2 years ago, it is difficult to know what might have caused the red dot you see after the injection.  It is possible a laser treatment could be done to treat the red spot but an examination of you would be needed to determine if the laser may be of help or not.  

Botox does not leave a red lesion on your forehead.  I would get a consultation to see if this lesion is something more suspicious that requires treatment.  Cheers!

It is not possible to give any opinion with no photos posted of the "red dot" you are referring to. It is highly unlikely for Botox to leave any permanent marks after injection. Did you ask the doctor who injected you? Please seek out only a board-certified, fellowship-trained medical doctors to treat you for facial injections. It's hard to say without a photo of the area. Red spots can be caused by a number of things on the face. Post-inflammatory erythema (redness) after trauma such as a puncture can happen. Often times, redness is a sign of increased blood vessels in the area. This redness is can easily be treated with a vascular laser (pulsed dye laser - Vbeam). But you should first have an in person consultation by a board certified dermatologist who can better evaluate the area and determine the best way to treat it. Hope this helps, good luck!

It's hard to know the exact cause of your facial redness without evaluating you in person or seeing a photo. That being said, a vascular laser such as VBeam or Excel V could be used to improve facial redness. 

Hi Humble222,It's rare that an injection site is still visible two years after. However, you need to have the lesion checked just to make sure it's not some other pathology. Lasers have a wonderful way of erasing hematomas.All the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
