Thank you for your question. Could you please clarify, do you mean as a side effect of botox your calves and ankles have gotten bigger?? This would be very unusual and definitely not a side effect of typically placed botox in the facial areas. On the otherhand, can botox be used to make someones calves and ankles bigger by injecting into those muscles??? Possibly, but it would take great amounts of botox and the potential side effects of decreased muscle movement could be incapacitating. Botox is not a treatment to add volume. It is used to relax the muscles. Typically used for the forehead or crows feet. Please consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon for all your options.
