We use hyaluronic acid fillers in this area with good success.  There is initial swelling, which subsides after 2 days and the fillers last 6-9 months.  Some patients actually benefit from filling the cheek-lid junction outside of the orbital septum.  You would need a consultation to really determine the best way to move forward. By adding volume to the area under the lower eyelid you can improve the "band" appearance.  I have been performing fat injections to this area for years.  You may also want to try a synthetic filler which would have a lower initial cost. Thanks for the question.  Good luck

What you are concerned with is the bulge under the lower eyelid that occurs when you smile. There is a circular muscle around the upper and lower eyelids which contracts in a circular fashion when you smile creating that bulge. You have beautiful eyes and a beautiful face--don't use any fillers or any surgical procedure.If you're truly concerned with the bulge, then consult with a facial plastic surgeon or an oculoplastic surgeon to inquire about a very small injection of Botox into the middle of that muscle.
