Reasonable expectations for mini facelift and /or rhinoplasty? (photos)

Question

Hi. 52 yo male. 5'10" 180#. Always self councious about my nose. Considered rhinoplasty in my early twenties, but at that time it seemed like everyone got the same little turned up nose. That would look out of place with me. As for the mini facelift, I happenned to see a picture of me and notice the double chin and droopy cheeks. Is like I'm getting old or something lol Anyway, was wondering what a reasonable expectation/recommendations were and which procedures would recommended

In the scale of changes available, a deep plane necklift and deep plane facelift would be the most effective combination to produce definition in the lower face, jawline and neck and reduce the visibility of nasolabial and marionette lines.

As far as rhinoplasty surgery, it would be possible to use computer imaging and simulation to appreciate the potential impact of different changes not just for the nose but the overall facial appearance.

3D imaging and simulation can also help the decision regarding lower face and neck interventions.

For the time being, computer simulations for facelift surgery are beset with limitations. To understand what facelift surgery may be able to do for you, I recommend that you examine your face shape lying down completely flat with no pillow. The effect of a good facelift intervention has a lot in common with the appearance of the face when lying down.

These procedures can be done together safely and give you excellent results.  For the nose you would want to reduce the dorsal hump, refine and elevate the tip.  The mini lift would address your neck and cheek ptosis.  You would need 1 week recovery.

From the photographs presented, the only improvement you'll get from a facelift procedure is going to be some improvement in your jawline. Mini lifts tend to give mini results we rarely perform them. Regarding the rhinoplasty procedure, you can certainly accomplish lifting and refining the nasal tip, shaving down the hump, narrowing the bridge line with a closed rhinoplasty procedure. All incisions  placed on the inside of the nose. No external incisions, and no painful packing is required either. Also important to release  the depressor septi ligament which dynamically pulls the tip downward when smiling. Rhinoplasty is a very difficult endeavor, so choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results
