Hi! Had a mini-facelift that left my neck looking like this. I tried to talk to my doctor about how to fix it in the future after I'm healed and he told me I have body dysmorphia and basically to kick rocks. I honestly just want to know how hard this will be to fix in the future. Thank you!
Answer: Neck irregularities after minilift: can they be foxed You look like you have had thorough fat removal without adequate skin tightening. You should get improvement with a necklift approached from a lateral approach (incisions around the ear, probably with some fat grafting. Choose an experienced surgeon. The procedure will be more difficult than the I iloft technically land although you get major improvement the skin will not be completely smooth.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Neck contour problems after liposuction Thank you for your enquiry and sharing your photographs. It is difficult to be sure based on photographs rather than clinical examination whether this problem is related to removing too much fatty tissue under the skin or an aggressive scar tissue response after liposuction to the area or both. In an effort to produce more neck definition at the time of a mini facelift, there is a risk that liposuction will remove too much fatty tissue under the chin. In women, the skin in the area is soft and delicate and can start to show wrinkles. This problem can unfortunately also be due to a more aggressive response of the scar tissue buildup after liposuction. If the area feels firm, suggesting scar tissue buildup, massage and sometimes steroid injections can help to soften it. It will take a few months for meaningful improvement. If the area feels soft, a combination of skin tightening and possibly a small amount of fat transfer could potentially restore a smoother contour.

Answer: Facelift I thought the expression was “pound sand”. Anyway the irregularity under your chin I’m sure can be corrected. It’s just a matter of how involved the process would be. It’s possible it could be corrected through an incision under your chin. But on the more complicated end it may require the facelift to be redone as a full facelift. Unfortunately the term mini facelift can mean a lot of different things but usually means cutting corners here or there and getting a suboptimal result.
