Answer: What a mini facelift will do for you. A mini facelift will not do much for your mid face. It will lift your cheeks, strengthen your jawline and jowls and neck. Your mid face will do well with volume replenishment with fillers.

Answer: Would a mini facelift be a good option for me? In order to lift the corners of the mouth on a long term basis the Suoerficial muscle-fasciae layer(SMAS) must be released and lifted which involves a deep plane approach. Most mini facelifts tighten the SMAS with sutures without releasing the deeper attachments and the improvement will less and not as long lasting. I Woukd choose your surgeon carefully and look at before and after pictures and understand the approach. Experience and reputation of the surgeon are important criteria.
