When can I play drums after Rhinoplasty?

I want to play with my band and its been 10 days since my rhinoplasty surgery. My surgeon said no "vigorous" exercise for 2 weeks and then no running (etc..) for 4 weeks. Can I play my drums 3 weeks after surgery? It does increase my heart rate but its not like im running 3 miles. I sweat a tiny bit when i play but nothing major.

There is no evidence that rhinoplasty can start the development of a rhinophyma. Just having sebaceous skin alone is not enough of a risk factor that a rhinophyma will happen. Rhinophymas are uncommon entities and rhinoplasty can be done without much concern.RegardsDr. J

The nose appears as such because of the nasal hump pushing the nasal tip downwards. Once the nasal hump is removed, the tip moves upwards and the nose does not appear to be bent downwards. RegardsDr. J
