Since my surgery, I’ve always felt the little balls in my butt area. There is one in the center of each butt cheek. I always thought these were the internal scars of where the apply the fat. Lately I’ve had pain in the area where the little balls are, not sure if it’s because I’ve gained some weight so maybe the stretching of the skin is causing the balls to move. Now that I’m having this pain, I’m a little worried and I’m wondering, are these balls really scars or could they be something else?

Answer: Post BBL painful lumps Hi and welcome to our forum! At two years post surgery, the scars have healed. The nature of the masses is obscure. It could represent an area of increased scarring or the result of an organized hematoma or seroma. One cannot discern among these entities without examination. As these masses are symptomatic, it may be wise to undergo in-person reevaluation by your plastic surgeon to determine their nature and advise appropriate treatment. Best wishes...

Answer: The need for surgery follow up The first thing you should do is visit your surgeon. This is what postoperative appointments are for. During these appointments we discuss results and address complications and undesirable outcomes.None of us are going to be able to tell you what’s going on from posting on real self. This is not a good substitute for a proper surgical aftercare.My best guess is you have areas of fat necrosis. The only way to treat them successfully is the surgically remove the areas.
