395cc, right side is appearing smaller than left & odd shaped, should I be concerned? (Photos)

Thanks for your question! You had some marked differences prior to surgery. I don't necessarily think that you have a problem, but rather you are noticing these asymmetries a little more because you are constantly staring at your breasts. You may need to exchange one implant or the other. I would definitely suggest trying to get in to see your surgeon. Good luck!

It looks like the right breast in the photo is sitting higher and tighter than the left. Please see your surgeon as soon as you can for an in person assessment.

HelloSince the sagging and volume of your breasts are not the same, the appearance after the implants will also be different. Bandage-type applications may be effective in the first month, before the capsule forms. However, once the capsule has formed, using the bandage will no longer be beneficial. Currently, the only thing you can do to prevent the capsule from becoming firm is to massage.

You may have developed a capsule that is holding your implant higher. Please call your surgeons' office. sometimes early capsules can be treated with oral Accolate and external ultrasound treatments.

At 6.5 months post-op, uneven healing is common, and one implant may take longer to settle. Possible causes include delayed "drop and fluff," capsular contracture, or natural asymmetry. Continue post-op care (bands and massage) and monitor for issues like pain, redness, or firmness. Follow up with your surgeon to ensure proper healing.

Though it is normal for breasts to heal at different rates it appears the right breast needs to be evaluated by your surgeon. It may need to be released to help it drop. It does appear larger and differently shaped than the left indicating capsular contracture also needs to be ruled out.

You should follow up with your surgeon who can do a good exam of your breasts. Your asymmetry could be due to a capsular contracture. It would be more helpful to see a good preop picture, your asymmetry could be due to some preop asymmetry that was subtle and is now more obvious with a 395 cc implant

Based on your nicely posted photos, your preoperative photo demonstrates asymmetry of the breast. Remember, they are not twins, but sisters. Plus, it appears your right breast might have capsule contracture, causing it to give an appearance of a larger breast.
