I am 5’6” and 116 lbs, bra size is 28c (but bc it’s so hard to find I end up wearing 32A)… I actually like smaller breasts but mine are misshaped after breastfeeding 2 kids. I would like to continue wearing the same bras but fill them out better and also have a more round youthful shape. I’ve never seen results of smaller breasts undergoing a lift so I’m curious if that’s even an option? Or fat transfer or anything else besides implants? I’m hesitant to go that route. Thanks!
Answer: Breast enhancement You have a few options including small implants and fat grafting. The challenges with fat grafting are twofold… 1) you may not have enough fat to transfer to the breasts. 2) the average patient only gets 1/2 cup size improvement no matter how much fat is available. I know you are hesitant on implants but, you would have a very nice result if implants were placed in the “total submuscular plane” and not just subpectoral. Additionally, I would recommend an armpit incision to not have a scar on any part of your breast.

Answer: Breast reshaping It’s difficult to see the placement of your nipples in relation to your breast fold. If they’re located in line with your breast fold or below, then a breast lift may be suitable. This would reshape your breasts to make them fuller in the upper portion, so they would fill out your bra more. Fat transfer or implants would not be necessary as you’d be about the same size as you are now.

Answer: Lifting smaller breasts A breast lift on smaller breasts can create a very pretty breast. Because of the small breast size, the full scar pattern tends to be more visible. However, because of the small weight of the breast tissue there is little to no tension on the healing scars and they tend to heal beautifully. If you do not desire an increase in your breast size you would be an excellent candidate for a lift alone. Dr. Brandon Lambiris Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon–Sarasota, FL

Answer: Without implants, fat injection is the best choice Fat injection can be performed to achieve symmetry; however, a lift is not necessary as there is no ptosis.

Answer: Breast reshaping for A cups Dear un4gettable, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
