I am 27, last year I got PRK (lasik), after a few months i started to get swollen eyes and eye bags. My eyes are very dry. I dried different creams, eyedrops, tea bags, I don’t want fillers, i thought about Derma Rollers or microneedling. I even read about the procedure where they take out the fat under your eye, thats very scary. Please help me? I feel so insecure about these bags. I use medication for allergies as well.

Answer: Treating Eye Bags or Puffy Eyes? Fillers or surgery Puffy eyes or under eye bags can be permanently corrected with surgery or temporarily camouflaged with fillers (Restylane, Belotero, Volbella). There are great non-surgical options to fill in under eye depressions and hollowness. Using dermal fillers, a liquid eye-lift can be performed. A dermal filler such as Restylane would be placed in the cheek and tear trough to hide the depression or bag underneath your eye. Surgery would require a fat-repositioning lower lid blepharoplasty. In this surgical procedure, fat from the eye area is moved into the tear trough depression filling the actual depression. I hope this helps!

Answer: Under eye concerns You mentioned that you don't want to use fillers, but I think that from a non surgical perspective, that is probably the treatment that will work best for you. They are used to disguise under eye irregularities and the results last up to one year. You may see some mild improvement with microneedling or lasers. I would try fillers before deciding to undergo surgery.
