Revision blepharoplasty on one eye now crease is too high, will it lower to match the other eye?

About 70% of my practice is fixing other surgeon's cosmetic eyelid surgeries. It is very early from your surgery so, yes, this eyelid needs to heal.  Specifically, it needs to heal 6 months before I would reconstruct it if it stays like this.  My hunch is that it will be a bit better as it heals but still not right.  What I can't tell you is whether you will feel motivated to have revisional surgery if the lid does improve.   I personally think both eyelids are a bit off.  They both look heavy and the creases appear to be too high. In the pictures, you don't see the eyelashes which suggests that there is no support for the upper eyelid lashes.  The high crease can be lowered, the ptosis can also be repaired. See my video below.  Once you get out about 3 to 4 months, if your issue is still not to your satisfaction, consultations for reconstruction would be appropriate.  Very few surgeons do this type of work.

The area between the eyelashes and the eyelid crease is often swollen after upper blepharoplasty surgery, causing the crease to appear higher than where it will eventually settle. It can sometimes take up to 6 months to see the final results.

It is difficult to say. only time will tell. The most difficult thing for a patient to hear is to be patient, but that is the bottom like. Do not lose faith in your doctor. Trust the process and take photos every 2-3 weeks

By looking at your photos, one eye doesn't seem to open all the way because of swelling. Let's wait a bit to see if it becomes more symmetrical.

The incision is likely to stay exactly where it is. After additional healing, if you are not happy with the appearance, see a surgeon who is experienced with cosmetic blepharoplasty revision. The crease incision should be lower, and the crease should be anchored to rotate the lashes into a proper position. Consider consultation(s) for a more meticulous approach to eyelid revision. Best wishes.

Looking at your photos there does not appear to be an excessive amount of post-operative swelling present. This means that what you see is essentially what you have as a result. I do not see the two creases lining up any better in the future. I think what you see is your basic result, and if you desire symmetry there will need to be a surgical correction to adjust for it. Whether there is a slight ptosis present in the left eye is possible, but hard to tell from these photos. 10 days post-op is very early in the healing process so do wait another month before making a decision on what to do.
