I am exactly 3 weeks post op and during the first 3 weeks have work waterproof dressing (replaced by PS each week) but the strips he put on have remained in place since the day after surgery. Now that I've been able to see the scars the one under my right breast is healing with an indent towards my body and giving the lower shape of my breast a square/flat look. Photo doesn't show it very well. I have also emailed my PS but still awaiting a reply.

Answer: Indent in Breast Crease Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. You likely have some deep, tight sutures in the breast crease which may cause an indent for some time until the tissue softens. Talk with your Plastic surgeon if you have ongoing concerns or do not notice improvement in a few months. All the best

Answer: Indented scar You'll hear what your surgeon has to say, but you should probably be fine when the scar matures and softens. These scars can be somewhat indented early on after surgery but typically improve over time.

Answer: Scar at 3 weeks Thank you for your question and photograph. Your photograph indicates normal healing. Scars can take up to a full year to mature and the scar and one breast can appear different than the other. A fully matured scar can be treated with laser or revised. Best of luck.
