I was instructed to stop taking my birth control pills 2 weeks before surgery. My fiancé and I forgot and had an accident last night. Am I able to take plan b today? My surgery is in 2 days. Or would it be better to take it the day of after surgery? It would still be within the first 72 hours. I have also been on birth control for the last 12 years so I don't know if this effects my ferility or the need for plan b.
